Threatening call prompts lockdown at Springhill Medical Center, Mobile Police investigating

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating a disturbance at Springhill Medical Center.

According to a release from Springhill Medical officials, the hospital received a threatening phone call around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Safety protocols were immediately implemented, including going into lockdown. Mobile Police was also contacted.
