(FOX40.COM) — An armed 30-year-old man who police alleged threatened his ex-girlfriend with a firearm and violated a restraining order was arrested Monday after an hours-long police standoff in Ceres. SWAT was involved and evacuations were conducted in the neighborhood.
Officers with the Ceres Police Department were dispatched at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the 800 block of Willow Lake Way to investigate a disturbance involving weapons. Before they arrived, a woman called police dispatch to report she had escaped the residence and requested to meet officers nearby, Ceres police said.
