For the Silveira family, frog jumping is more than a competition. It is a family tradition, a hometown legacy and a piece of Gustine history that has continued for 68 years.
This year, the Gustine Frog Team once again represented the community at the Calaveras County Frog Jumping Jubilee in Angels Camp — and came home with another win. The longtime family team added a new chapter to a tradition that has carried the Silveira name, and the name of Gustine, onto one of California’s most unique stages.
