(FOX40.COM) — Saturday was a busy day for rescuers in the Central Valley. The Ripon Consolidated Fire District rescued two separate groups of people along the Stanislaus River.
Those rescues happened just hours apart. No one was injured, but local officials reminded river-lovers to be safe out on the water.
