Days after Tracy warehouse fire, crews still battle hard-to-reach hot spots

TRACY, Calif. — A massive fire that destroyed a Medline warehouse in Tracy continues to draw firefighting, cleanup and investigative efforts days after it began.

The fire started around 1 p.m. Thursday near Promontory Parkway and Hansen Road on the outskirts of Tracy. The warehouse, once described as a skyscraper on its side, is now a field of debris as excavators, street sweepers and firefighters continue working at the site.
