Parole decision reached for man convicted of 1979 double murder

(FOX40.COM) — A Modesto man convicted of the brutal murders in 1979 of a husband and wife in their home as part of a robbery attempt has been denied parole.

63-year-old Darren Lawrence Lee was denied parole because he still posed an unreasonable risk to public safety, the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office said.
