Firefighters report 100% containment of a vegetation blaze that broke out east of Modesto Reservoir on Thursday afternoon.
The Rushing Fire near the 1900 block of Crabtree Road has burned about 11 acres, the Cal Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit reports.
Five engines, one bulldozer and 53 personnel members are assigned to the fire, in addition to air tankers being flown for fire suppression missions as conditions allow. The cause of the fire remains under investigation…
