The California Highway Patrol (CHP) took major enforcement action after finding tire and licensing violations during a traffic stop on a speeding semi truck in the Modesto area.
A CHP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer initiated a traffic stop on a semi truck for speeding, according to a June 18 post from CHP’s ModestoDivision.
The truck was inspected as part of the traffic stop, leading the officer to discover that “the truck was operating with a flat tire, creating a serious safety hazard for everyone on the roadway.”
