An officer with the Modesto Police Department has been arrested for an alleged domestic incident that occurred back in March while off-duty in Tuolumne County, officials said Saturday.
Solomon Foketi, a four-year veteran with Modesto police, was arrested by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor domestic violence. Foketi will be booked into the Tuolumne County Jail, Modesto police said.
The investigating started after Modesto police received information regarding a domestic incident involving Foketi, and after reviewing the information, passed it along to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, which had jurisdiction.
