June 22, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are conducting an active investigation in the area of 9th Street and River Road in the unincorporated area of Modesto.
Deputies responded to the area following reports of an assault. Based on the nature of the incident, detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit have assumed responsibility for the investigation.
