Oakdale Pride switches venues for comfort and security amid resident concerns

OAKDALE, Calif. — Oakdale Pride is moving location in what organizers call an upgrade. The move follows a tense city council meeting in which some residents raised concerns about the event that was slated to be held at a park.

The event is still scheduled for June 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. but will now be held at the Gene Bianchi Community Center.
