June 24, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 17, 2026, investigators from the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit assisted the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office with a search warrant at a residence on Albion Way, Modesto, in connection with illegal fireworks sales.
Investigators seized over 500 pounds of illegal fireworks and three firearms, including a suspected illegally modified short barrel rifle. One suspect was arrested in connection with this investigation.
