The California Highway Patrol is partnering with Stanislaus County law enforcement agencies to conduct an operation targeting intoxicated drivers Friday. According to a CHP press release, the Central Valley division investigated 2,442 DUI-related crashes in 2025.
“This targeted enforcement effort is part of the ongoing commitment to reduce the number of DUI-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities,” the press release stated.
The operation is a response to the high number of DUI-related crashes last year, with the goal of “deter[ring] impaired driving and enhanc[ing] roadway safety.”…
