Stockton stabbing update: suspect arrested and charged with homicide

(FOX40.COM) — The Stockton Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing in Stockton on June 23.

SPD officers responded to a stabbing report near the 400 block of South San Joaquin Street in Stockton on Tuesday morning. Officers found a 35-year-old male who was suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

A suspect was not identified at the time, but homicide investigators later identified 25-year-old Zion Gary as a suspect in the case. Officers took Gary into custody on Wednesday, and he is now booked on homicide charges…
