STOCKTON, Calif. — Community members are helping shape plans to transform portions of Stockton’s Mormon Slough, an area that has struggled for years with homelessness, crime and trash.
Restore the Delta, the nonprofit leading the Mormon Slough Restoration Project, held a public visioning meeting Saturday to gather community input as it finalizes concept designs for two sections of the slough.
