The bodies of two construction workers were found Saturday in Stockton after a trench collapse at a construction site, Stockton Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters were called at about 5:15 a.m. to the 7900 block of North El Dorado Street on a report of a collapse, Deputy Chief Erik Patten said. At the scene, crews found a construction site with what appeared to be trench collapse.
Patten said the reporting party said two people, who he believed were in the trench, were last seen inside on Friday night, Aug. 7. The witness said he could not get ahold of the two workers…
