The long Labor Day weekend wasn’t a restful one for Stockton police, as officers had to subdue combative suspects in separate incidents over successive nights, arrest records show.
The trouble started just after midnight Saturday when police said a pair of officers saw a driver run a stop sign. The reckless driving nearly led to a collision with a police cruiser before the man behind the wheel struck a parked car at Sonora and Union streets, authorities said.
The driver, identified as Kiburi Dynes, 46, was found to be in possession of narcotics when he was detained, police said.
