BWC Terminals’ expanded renewable fuels terminal at the Port of Stockton has been selected to receive the 2025 Outstanding Airports and Ports Project Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Sacramento Section.
The project includes a newly constructed marine oil terminal dock that complies with California’s Marine Oil Terminal Engineering and Maintenance Standards (MOTEMS). According to BWC, the facility represents the first newly constructed MOTEMS-compliant dock built in California in nearly 30 years.
The ASCE Sacramento Section award recognises projects for their contributions to the civil engineering profession and the Northern California community. The recognition also highlights the technical expertise and dedication of the teams involved in delivering the project.
