A 24-year-old man was wounded in a shooting over the weekend in Stockton after he and another man drove to the area to confront people over a dispute, police said.
The shooting was reported at 10:08 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Astor Drive in the Valley Oak District. The two men, ages 24 and 31, were driving in the area when a suspect or suspects opened fire at their vehicle, striking the 24-year-old.
