Delicias Aly is opening its first brick-and-mortar restaurant at 3801 Yosemite Blvd, Suite C, in Modesto, with owner Bertha Aguilar confirming to What Now Sacramento that the restaurant is targeting an October opening.
Aguilar said the restaurant will serve traditional Mexican food, with a menu built around birria, menudo, quesabirria, chile rellenos, flautas and pozole. The concept builds on a business she already runs under the same name, a Delicias Aly food truck, marking her first move from food truck operator into full restaurant ownership.
The Delicias Aly food truck has built a loyal customer base over time, drawing praise for its handmade tortilla birria tacos and carne asada burritos, along with outdoor covered seating that’s made it a regular stop for locals.
