(FOX40.COM) — The Stockton Police Department will continue its “aggressive” and “sustained” enforcement efforts against smoke shops and tobacco retailers operating in violation of state and local laws, the Stockton Police Department said in a press release.
The staunch enforcement efforts were announced last year following increased community concerns on illegal tobacco sales, flavored tobacco products, unlicensed businesses and other forms of unlawful activity occurring at tobacco retailers.
Stockton PD has since continued to dedicate resources toward inspections, investigations, enforcement operations and administrative actions made to “hold violators accountable and protect the health, safety and quality of life of Stockton residents.”…
