Delaware State Police arrested a 35-year-old California man after authorities say he and another suspect used fraudulent documents to steal a trailer containing more than $680,000 worth of electronics from a New Castle warehouse.
Police said two suspects arrived at Emolo Consumer Electronics, located at 1146 River Road, at approximately 9:15 a.m. Sunday, September 14. The suspects allegedly identified themselves as FedEx employees and presented driver’s licenses and shipping documents for the trailer. They then connected the trailer to a tractor cab and left the property.
The documents were later determined to be fraudulent, according to police. On Monday, September 15, troopers responded to University Plaza in Newark after the tractor-trailer was located there.
