Stockton teacher arrested for possessing over 65,000 CSAM images

(FOX40.COM) — A Stockton teacher is under arrest after officers alleged he possessed more than 65,000 images of child sexual abuse material.

The California Highway Patrol arrested Lincoln High School teacher Nickolas Turpen-Arends this week, officers announced Wednesday morning, concluding a months-long investigation into an IP address.

Investigators with the highway patrol’s Computer Crimes Investigation Unit, helped by the CHP Special Weapons and Tactics team, served a search warrant at the suspect’s Stockton home Tuesday.
