A Riverbank resident has been convicted of premeditated murder with a firearm and faces a sentence of 50 years to life, the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday evening.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Sept. 9, 2021, from the father of Jose Primitivo Valencia, saying his son admitted to killing someone at Valencia’s residence. When deputies responded, they found Ernesto Casillas dead inside the residence.
