September 23, 2026 – San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office officials report that early on Monday morning, September 21st, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office graveyard deputies attempted to stop a vehicle near Eighth Street and Pock Lane in Stockton for vehicle code violations. The driver failed to yield, leading deputies on an approximately two-mile pursuit.
Near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Airport Way, the driver lost control while attempting a turn and the vehicle became disabled. Both occupants fled on foot but were quickly apprehended by deputies…
