A San Francisco sheriff’s deputy is facing accusations of “engaging in bullying and abusive conduct” toward city employees in the Central Valley town where he serves as mayor.
Lt. Michael Clauzel, the mayor of Patterson, likely violated multiple policies by threatening city workers and fellow elected leaders, inappropriately involving himself in city operations and “bypassing city organizational structure,” Shelline Bennett of the firm Liebert Cassidy Whitmore wrote in a 47-page report.
