(FOX40.COM) — Cleanup efforts in a San Joaquin County waterway were completed after a tanker truck crash spilled asphalt into it earlier this month, officials announced Wednesday.
According to the Office of Spill Prevention and Response, over 500 bags of asphalt were removed from Trapper Slough when crews finished cleaning out the water earlier this week. No oiled wildlife was observed, officials said.
