(FOX40.COM) — Police identified the man who was killed in a crash believed to be a hit-and-run in downtown Modesto on Friday.
The Modesto Police Department responded to a crash at the intersection of 14th Street and I Street involving a pedestrian and a car on Friday.
Before the collision, the victim walked westbound on I Street toward 14th Street and “laid down in the roadway and covered himself with a blanket,” police said. A car driving westbound then struck the victim, 35-year-old Jacob Moore of Modesto…
