Stanislaus County health inspectors observed a number of violations in early October including flies, ants and pink slime.
The majority of the 2,400 permitted food service establishments in the county receive unannounced routine food safety inspections each year, according to the Department of Environmental Resources.
There were 60 inspections across 60 facilities between Sept. 28-Oct. 4, according to the DER website.
