Modesto Drug Raid Nets 30 Pounds of Meth, $90K Cash, Arrest

Modesto police seized more than 30 pounds of methamphetamine, roughly $90,000 in cash, and a firearm after the department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team executed simultaneous search warrants at three locations across the city on October 8, arresting the primary target of a drug trafficking investigation. The operation capped what investigators described as a compressed-timeline effort to develop intelligence and coordinate resources before moving on the alleged trafficking organization.

According to the Modesto Police Department, the Narcotics Enforcement Team had been investigating a drug trafficking organization operating in Modesto before the warrants were served. The department said law enforcement teams addressed all three locations safely and simultaneously, and credited the operation with disrupting the trafficking of dangerous narcotics in the Modesto community.
