Atwater asking for public input on blueprint for city

ATWATER, Calif. – ( KGPE ) The city of Atwater is asking for public input on the general plan.

The general plan is a blueprint for the city and sets priorities for growth, and expansion.

The last time it was updated was in the early 2000s. Mayor Mike Nelson said the plan will guide the city of 31,000 to grow in the right direction.

The general plan workshop will be on January 31 at 6:00 p.m. Community Center Multi-Purpose Room at 760 E. Bellevue Road Atwater.
