Two Stockton men were arrested this week in connection with armed robberies in Lodi, police said.

Patrol officers were dispatched around 8 p.m. Wednesday to the 200 block of East Tokay Street for an armed robbery.

However, the alleged suspects had fled before officers arrived. Surveillance video footage of the suspects was located by investigating officers, Lodi police said.

Again, officers were dispatched to another armed robbery at 8:57 p.m. in the 300 block of East Locust Street that matched the suspect description of the previous call.

Officers found the suspect vehicle in the 900 block of South Cherokee Lane and allegedly found a handgun.

Anthony Valdez, 18, and Sergio Reyes, 21, were arrested on suspicion of committing the two robberies.
