TRACY, Calif. – A traffic stop in Tracy last week resulted in an assault on an officer and the discovery of a man wanted for murder in the Central Valley. On Friday, Feb. 2, Tracy police officers said they spotted 33-year-old Fernando David Perez speeding in a silver BMW near 11th Street and MacArthur Drive and suspected him of DUI.
