TURLOCK, Calif. – A high school wrestling coach in Stanislaus County was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of child molestation. Derek William Young, 41, was arrested in Modesto based on an investigation into incidents that occurred in Ripon more than 10 years ago, Ripon Police Department said. He was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on three felony charges: continuous sexual abuse of a child, lewd or lascivious act with a child under 14 and oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child under 10, according to jail booking information.
