(FOX40.COM) — A box truck with several people riding in the cargo area was pulled over on Highway 99 on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Modesto office.

The agency said motorists dialed 911 to report the vehicle after noticing that the rear door was partially open and several people could be seen inside.

Pictures shared on Facebook by the CHP show the truck pulled over on the side of the highway with the rear door open and several people standing inside, along with what appear to be buckets and work supplies.

CHP officers were able to stop the vehicle and “confirmed the violations,” the agency said in a Facebook post.

“Appropriate enforcement action was taken and the GMC was impounded,” the CHP added.
