In the early hours of February 13, 2024, the Modesto Police Department responded to an officer-involved shooting in the vicinity of Paradise Road and S. Martin Luther King Drive. The incident unfolded shortly before 1 AM when two Modesto Police Officers encountered an armed individual during a routine traffic stop, police said.
