Stockton-area school districts offering free meals to students during summer months

Many children rely on school meals during the academic year, but when schools close their doors for the summer, some of those children go hungry.

That’s why several K-12 districts in Stockton and San Joaquin County are providing free breakfast and lunch to students during summer break at community centers, libraries, parks, and schools.

Here’s when and where free meal programs are being held this June and July.

Stockton Unified School District

Through July 19, any Stockton Unified School District student below the age of 18 can pick up a free meal at select community centers and libraries. Meals will not be served on July 4 as the district will be closed for the holiday.
