More than two dozen parks close in East Bay due to heat wave and fire danger. The East Bay Regional Park District said Tuesday that all parks in inland areas are closed “due to extreme fire conditions and excessive heat.” This includes Tilden, Anthony Chabot, Claremont Canyon, Wildcat Canyon and some two dozen other parks. Parks along the shoreline remain open.
