A person with multiple gunshot wounds was taken to a local hospital on Thursday night, according to officials.
Firefighters and medics from the Modesto Fire Department arrived at the 900 block of Glenn Avenue, near Bret Harte Elementary School in south Modesto, at about 8 p.m.
Modesto Police Department officers cleared the way for them to access a person with “multiple gunshot wounds.”
“Crews provided care on scene and the patient was transported to a local hospital for further treatment,” read a Fire Department incident summary report.
One person was arrested in connection with the shooting, according to MPD Sgt. Orrin Nelson. However, no other details were released as of Friday morning.
