Bay City News

Two people were arrested this week on suspicion of robbing two Lathrop High School students after school, police said.

Lathrop police said a school resource officer was flagged down Tuesday by a student who reported that they had been robbed in the Stanford Crossing area after school.

Minutes later another student from the school approached the same officer and stated that they had also been robbed in the area where the first robbery occurred.

Detectives and officers said they were able to locate and identify the alleged suspect vehicle.

Hezekiah Dawson, 18, and Angelina Tachiquin, 20, were detained and arrested in connection with the robberies, police said.

Police said both suspects were also booked on warrants issued by the Stockton Police Department for additional robbery offenses.
