Concerns were raised in Lathrop this week as two high school students faced the harrowing experience of being robbed in close succession. The incidents, which occurred just moments apart in the Stanford Crossing area near Lathrop High School, have prompted police to issue warnings and remind students to remain vigilant. According to a KCRA report, the students were approached shortly after school was dismissed and found themselves divested of personal belongings, including clothing and jewelry. A nearby school resource officer was brought up to date by the victims, initiating a rapid police response.
