STOCKTON, California – A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman earlier this month, according to the Stockton Police Department. On August 3, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of E Churchill Street following a report of a person shot. They found a 31-year-old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite medical aid provided by officers, firefighters, and AMR, she succumbed to her injuries days later at an area hospital.
