Mike Tyson on upcoming fight with Jake Paul, long friendship with candidate for Stockton Mayor

STOCKTON, Calif. (KTXL) – Former world boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and his longtime friend Tom Patti sit-down to chat with FOX40’s Sean Cunningham about their friendship, the relationship they had with legendary trainer Cus D’Aamato, how that helped prepare them for their later years, the many events planned for the weekend in Stockton, Patti’s candidacy for Mayor of Stockton and Tyson’s upcoming fight with Jake Paul at the age of 58.

Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) and Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) are scheduled to meet on Nov. 15 in a professionally sanctioned fight in Arlington, TX. at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The fight will be eight, two-minute rounds with 14-ounce gloves.

In 2021, Tyson fought Evander Holyfield in an eight-round, exhibition fight that ended in a draw.

Tyson’s last sanctioned fight took place in 2005 against Kevin McBride, who defeated Tyson by way of TKO in the sixth round.
