(FOX40.COM) — A double-murder investigation is underway after an elderly couple was found dead in a Stockton residence on Friday.
The Stockton Fire Department said it responded to a home in the 4600 Block of Winding River Circle, Lakeview District, for reports of a gas leak. After crews entered the residence, the discovered a woman, 83, and a man, 76, with gunshot wounds. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
