Bay Area drivers, take note: the Stockton Police Department is taking a stand against unsafe driving by introducing a new enforcement effort aptly called the Saturation Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.). Set to unfold on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, this initiative is not a solo act. Instead, the Stockton Police will join forces with a cohort of local law enforcement agencies, including units from Tracy, Ripon, Lodi, San Joaquin County, Manteca, and the California Highway Patrol, in a collective effort to promote responsible driving and reduce the likelihood of vehicular collisions.
