Modesto Police recover thousands of dollars in stolen property and tow five vehicles

(FOX40.COM)—Modesto Police said in a Facebook post that officers have recently cracked down on organized retail through focused operations and partnerships with local retailers.

According to Modesto PD, this week, they made 32 arrests, recovered $6,523 in property, and towed five vehicles.

Police said that during the current operational period, there have been 96 arrests, $18,746 in property has been recovered, one stolen vehicle was found, and 23 vehicles have been towed.

Modesto PD said in the post, “We couldn’t do this without the dedication of our officers and the support of local businesses. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference! Together, we are keeping Modesto safe and holding offenders accountable.”
