Atwater Police ask for help identifying hit-and-run suspect

ATWATER, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Atwater Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

Police say on Dec. 27 at approximately 8 p.m. near Bellevue Road and Winton Way a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian occurred.

According to police, the suspect’s vehicle was described as a newer model silver sedan with tinted windows and with moderate front-end damage.

The victim sustained serious injuries and is currently recovering, but police say they need help in finding the suspect.
