(FOX40.COM) – A man was arrested after he allegedly made bomb threats to rob a bank on New Year’s Eve, according to the Turlock Police Department. Around 1:38 p.m., TPD received a 911 call advising that a bank robbery had just occurred at the US Bank located at 427 E. Olive Ave. The caller reported that a man entered the bank with a briefcase and told an employee there was an explosive device inside of it. The man reportedly demanded money and claimed he could detonate the device. The man left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, left the briefcase inside, and fled the area in a white Lexus. according to TPD.
