One of Stockton Miracle Mile’s newest tenants is open for slimy business, literally.
At Slime 209, you can create your own slime with charms, scents, glitter, and even choose a base of your choice. The family-owned business is located at 2039 Pacific Ave. in Stockton.
Joann Arrien and Samantha Leon opened their business on Oct. 1. The cousins are San Jose natives, but both moved to Stockton at a young age.
“It’s a safe place for kids to come and make a mess,” Arrien told The Stockton Record in December. “We give them the tools to be creative, give them the freedom to express themselves how they want to, and without them knowing it becomes a sensory experience for them.”
The new business is the first of its kind in the area.
“This incredible family friendly store has a vibrant selection that features handcrafted slimes in a variety of textures and scents. You can find everything from fluffy and cloud-like to glossy and stretchy,” the Stockton Miracle Mile (Official) Facebook page announced on their page of the new business. “They pride themselves in using safe, high-quality ingredients to create unique and satisfying sensory experiences.”
