(FOX40.COM) — A man has been arrested in connection with the 2023 shooting death of a teenager at a park in Stockton.
On April 12, 2023, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Unity Park where they found one teenage victim who had been shot and another who had been pistol-whipped.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died.

After an investigation, police identified a suspect, and on Tuesday the U.S. Marshals Task Force took the suspect into custody in Hayward.
Police said the two victims had been playing basketball at the park when they were approached by two suspects who robbed them.
Police did not provide an update on the second suspect but did say the investigation is ongoing.
